Bryan County Chamber of Commerce Launches First-Ever Back to School Expo

Richmond Hill, GA – The Bryan County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its inaugural Back to School Expo, a new community event designed to connect families with local businesses, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and educational resources while preparing students for a successful school year.

Scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, at the Richmond Hill City Center, the Expo is expected to bring together hundreds of families from across Bryan County for an afternoon of school readiness, community engagement, and business networking.

"This event is about bringing our community together," said Erin Fountain, Interim CEO of the Bryan County Chamber of Commerce. "Families will have the opportunity to discover valuable local resources while our businesses can showcase the products, services, and programs they provide every day. It's a win for everyone involved."

The Chamber has already received an outstanding response from the local business community, with strong support from sponsors and vendors representing healthcare, financial services, education, youth development, nonprofits, and professional services.

The Chamber proudly recognizes the following sponsors for helping make this event possible:

Principal Sponsors

  • The Children's Village
  • First Bank of Coastal Georgia

Honor Roll Sponsors

  • Development Authority of Bryan County
  • Memorial Health
  • Chatham Orthopaedic Associates
  • YMCA of Coastal Georgia
  • Great Oaks Bank
  • Hyundai MOBIS

The Back to School Expo also serves as a fundraiser for the Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, allowing the Chamber to continue investing in programs that strengthen the local business community through advocacy, education, networking, workforce initiatives, and economic development.

"Every sponsorship and vendor registration helps us fulfill our mission of connecting businesses with opportunities to grow while supporting meaningful community events," Fountain said. "We're grateful for the incredible support we've already received and look forward to making this an annual tradition for Bryan County."

Businesses interested in participating still have time to get involved. Classroom Sponsorships and vendor spaces remain available, providing a unique opportunity to engage directly with local families, increase brand visibility, and demonstrate a commitment to education and the community.

The Bryan County Chamber invites families throughout the region to attend this free community event and discover the many organizations dedicated to helping students start the school year prepared and confident.
